Essex Centurion — April 30 – October 2, 2022
Welcome to the 3rd annual ESSEX CENTURION event!
Since 2020, the ESSEX CENTURION has been enjoyed by cyclists aged 12-76 with varying abilities from cautious intermediate to confident expert.
WHEN? Apr 30 – Oct 2, 2022
EVENT: We are offering two different route options this year:
1. the classic EC Way 100 mile route;
OR
2. the new Essex-Kent Grand Tour (or “EKG 300k”) which is a 300k route that takes in both Essex & Kent Counties.
As in previous years, the routes can be completed in one day or over multiple days.
FUN(D)-RAISING. This will be a free event again this year, but we encourage participants to make a donation to help raise funds for this year’s designated charity, the Kiwanis Sunshine Point Camp (at Mile 14 of the EC Way 100), a wonderful local organization that offers summer camp programs for children aged 7-14.
Essex Centurions were very generous with donations during last year’s event and we hope for the same spirit of generosity this year!
There will be a matching contribution for each dollar raised up to $1,000
