OANS, ZWOA, DREI, G’SUFFA!
Fall brings cooler but nice weather, leaves turning colour, long shadows and lots of nice cycling days here in Essex County. Thanksgiving Day will be over but Oktoberfest will still be in full swing!….it will be time to ‘Prost’! And what better way to celebrate than to ride a bike, then hoist a pint and cheer!
Cycle Kingsville, Banded Goose Brewery and the Banded Goose Cycle Club (BgBCC) will host a great day of riding and festivities on Saturday, October 15 (rain date Sunday, October 16).
There is free registration (see link) for the 3 different rides. German style beer and German food will be available for purchase after the rides. There will even a be German band on site!
So from calculus, if beer = cycling, and beer = Oktoberfest, then by definition, cycling = Oktoberfest! So study up on your German Oktoberfest lingo and come on down to Banded Goose Brewery…dirndls and lederhosen optional!

There will be route maps available the morning of the ride.
Gather at 10:00 am behind the Banded Goose Brewery Taproom, off Pearl Street.
All rides start at 10:30 am.
